The Computation and Society Initiative (CSI)will host K VijayRaghavan at their next Coffee Break virtual event. Professor K VijayRaghavan was appointed the Principal Scientific Adviser (PSA) to the Government of India in 2018.  In 2012 he was elected a fellow of The Royal Society. In April 2014 he was elected as a foreign associate to the US National Academy of Science.

In this on-going series of discussions, CSI invites experts and leaders to share their perspectives on some of the key challenges facing society and whose solutions are likely to involve a novel synthesis of ideas and innovations from disciplines and schools including computer science, data science, social sciences, humanities, public health, business, and law. The organizers hope that these Coffee Breaks will stimulate discussion, build connections, and foster collaborations across fields.
